New Chinese Language and Culture Class for Adoptees in GA

Announcing a new learning opportunity designed specifically for children adopted from China!  The Atlanta Contemporary Chinese Academy (ACCA) is proposing a fun and interactive way for adopted children to gain a better understanding of their cultural heritage.  Starting in August, this new class will allow participants to immerse themselves in the Chinese culture through lessons in art, music, and history, all while learning conversational Chinese.   ACCA is making this class available at all three of their locations each Saturday or Sunday afternoon (see below).

Depending upon student interest, the class fee will either be $140/semester (15+ students) or $160/semester (between 10-14 students).  The final fee structure will be communicated before classes begin in August.  Additionally, class participants will need to purchase a workbook (a one-time charge of $30) to assist in learning Chinese.  This program is open to students at all experience levels in Mandarin.  Participants must be at least 6 years of age and siblings of adopted children are also welcome!

If interested, please e-mail Christy Stasko at with the location and time of class you are considering!
