CCAI, ranked the #1 agency worldwide in China adoption, has placed more Chinese children than any other agency! CCAI serves families with a high standard of quality and integrity, both through the traditional “non-special needs” adoption program and the Waiting Child (special needs) Program. Our low-cost adoption services and caring, professional staff make CCAI the trusted and respected adoption agency of choice for thousands of adoptive parents.
With your passionate giving, we received an incredible $29,600+ in donations from #ColoradoGivesDay alone, beating last year’s numbers by over $10,000!!!
Thank you, from the bottom of our overwhelmed hearts, for choosing CCAI as one of your charities to support. In this season of giving, we know how tight money can be. Words cannot express our gratitude for such an amazing turn out!
Please continue sharing your CCAI stories with friends and family. As the year wraps up, we hope 2017 continues to shatter records in our passionate mission to support our families and the children still waiting for their own forever families.
Colorado Gives Day has arrived! No matter where you are in the world, you can participate in Colorado Gives Day and make your donation go further.
We would be honored if you would keep CCAI in mind when making donations through Colorado Gives, today. In our 25 years of service, CCAI has strived to provide a legacy of vital and unique support for orphanages, children, and families in our adoption community and beyond. This has been possible solely due to the generosity and passion of our donors.
Colorado Gives Day is a day that gives back to all the non-profits in Colorado. Every dollar you give goes further on Colorado Gives Day. For every donation, First Bank matches 10 percent up to $1 million!
So, invite your friends, invite your family, invite that stranger you met at the grocery store…invite everyone! With a little help from our friends, thousands of children’s lives will be changed for the better, forever!
CCAI co-founders, Josh and Lily, returned yesterday from their bi-annual In-China Staff Training, just in time for Thanksgiving! Our China staff are our unsung heroes and, really, the secret to our success. Every training is a blast as Lily and Josh review new policies and practices, in addition to re-energizing the team with some laughter and team bonding. Our fantastic Rita, George, Cecilia, Rebecca, and David were also all presented with the CCAI Angel of Love Award!
The best kind of birthday is the birthday that never ends 😁
This past Saturday, we continued our 25th Anniversary celebrations with our Southeast Reunion in Atlanta, GA (just in time for National Adoption Month)! It was a fantastic event, blessed with perfect weather and even more perfect company. Thank you to all the families who made it to our fun day at Zoo Atlanta! Let’s do it again!
October is #DownSyndromeAwarenessMonth! Children with Down Syndrome are often overlooked in adoption, but as many of our CCAI families will tell you, these kids bring so much love and joy into our lives!
Right now there are over 400 children with Down Syndrome on the Shared List hoping to find their forever families. We talked with 2 CCAI families that have adopted kiddos with Down Syndrome to see how these children brighten their lives!
Lora, momma of 2 beautiful girls with Down Syndrome, says:
“What is so special about children adopted with Down syndrome? My answer is that they are delightful. Delightful in their joy and exuberance. Our two girls with Down syndrome came home this last spring from China through CCAI. While I knew that our girls were beyond precious from their photo and video updates, I had no idea how much joy they would bring to our home. They very quickly blended right in with the rest of the family, and are pretty much adored by us all.
Their expressions, their responses, and their affection are so genuine and uninhibited. Their unbridled joy tends to rub off on whomever they are around. Not that they don’t have their own moments, because they can be stubborn and have good and bad days like everybody else. Truly, though, they are little rays of sunshine in our home.”
Next, we talked to Meg, momma of 2 boys with Down Syndrome! She made this incredible video last year to talk about what their day-to-day life looks like:
Children born with Down Syndrome are loving, capable kids who can lead healthy, social, and happy lives. Are you considering the adoption of a child with Down Syndrome? Don’t hesitate to reach out to our Waiting Child Program for family references. SO many families would love to share their stories with you!

CCAI’s Midwest Reunion was a great success! Thank you SO VERY MUCH to Julie, our CCAI KY director, and Kentucky CCAI Family APC for putting on such a fun family reunion this past weekend!
Held at a beautiful farm site, the weather was perfect and over 300 people showed up for the festivities — several families driving 8+ hours to get to the Reunion! Lily and Josh were thrilled to see so many new families who had adopted within the last year, as well as many old friends.
Thank you to everyone who attended! Lily and Josh has such a fun time
Thank you to all the families who traveled from near and far (and all the many more who were with us in spirit!) to spend such a joyous and emotional evening with Mama Lily and Papa Josh! Celebrating over 12,300 adoptions and thousands more lives changed by the courage and passion of CCAI’s co-Founders, your love and support were felt so fully this weekend. Our hearts have been filled to the brim
Enjoy this photo of Lily and Josh with some of our children who attended Saturday evening’s inspiring event — so many that we couldn’t even fit them all on stage!
Congratulations to Chinese Children Adoption International on 25 years of incredible service to the children of the world and the families who have been changed by them! I have personally witnessed Lily’s passion for child aid through her invaluable work on my Childcare Facilities Licensing Advisory Committee. Thank you, Joshua Zhong and Lily Nie, for your tireless work and passionate dedication to the abandoned children of China, Haiti, Latvia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and the United States. Congratulations, again, CCAI. Cheers to 25 years and 12,000 children!
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper shared a quick welcome message at CCAI’s 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Colorado Convention Center, Saturday night, September 16th. His welcome message preceded a reading of his gubernatorial proclamation by CCAI Chairman of the Board, Paul Rady, that established September 16, 2017 as, hereto forth, CCAI Day for the State of Colorado.
