Xi has overcome so much! Before surgery to repair his cleft lip and palate he was frustrated that he could not speak. He struggled to feel heard and acted out as a result. Now, his speech is still delayed, but he has made amazing improvements in both his pronunciation and his behavior. He studied very hard to learn proper pronunciation and can now say simple sentences. He can handle most day-to-day tasks on his own, and will even help his nannies with their chores and with the younger kiddos. He knows that the younger children look up to him and he tries to be a good role model. He loves to play with his toy cars and is a whiz at puzzles. He also is quite the artist, and can’t wait to show his nannies his artwork!
Xi is a Special Focus child, meaning he can be matched to a family either with or without a dossier in China and may also be accepted along with another child! He is diagnosed with Postoperative Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate. Please call 303-850-9998 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about Xi!
