We just noticed today that CCAI is rated 5 stars on Facebook!!!
No matter how big or small this is, we are absolutely thrilled for the honor! Thank you to all of our families and friends who have taken the time to give us such high marks! Wow!
We are truly grateful and humbled to have such wonderful “fans” in our family and will continue to work our hardest to consistently provide our top-notch services and programs that merit this 5-star rating. 😀
We would be nowhere without the love and support of all of you. Thank you!
Colorado Gives Day is December 10th! Please keep CCAI in mind and schedule your gift today at ColoradoGives.org! You do not need to be a CO resident to donate and 100% of donations given on Colorado Gives Day will go towards CCAI’s Children Charity Fund!
As always, please visit CCAI to learn more about some of the amazing programs we have been able to accomplish with a little help from our friends! Incredible programs like our Lily Orphan Care Centers, our Orphan Sponsorship programs, and the Baby Safe Haven Initiative all would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the kindness and generosity of our CCAI Family and friends.
If you have any questions regarding Colorado Gives Day or how to set up your donation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org!

Our Travel Department Specialist, Hannah, and Accounting Assistant, Ben, tabled a CCAI information booth at Bear Valley Ranch Church this past Sunday. We so enjoyed seeing so many CCAI families and had a great time answering prospective questions! Keep them coming!
CCAI will be tabling at various churches and community centers throughout this month in celebration of National Adoption Awareness Month. We will try to keep you updated on our next location. Stop by and bring friends and help us celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month in a big way! This is a fantastic way to get any questions answered, face-to-face. 🙂
This month, we’d like to challenge all of our families and friends to consider doing one of the following:
- Hold your own fundraising effort and register your team at email@example.com!
- Read Bound by Love with your book group!
- Organize an Orphan Care Day at your church/temple/synagogue/local community center!
- Table at an adoption conference!
- Host an adoption information meeting!
- Invite some potential adoptive families to your home for coffee or desserts!
- Blog, tweet, facebook, or pinterest adoption-related posts!
- Share our Orphan Care video!
- Do whatever activity or event you feel is effective and manageable!
Sharing your personal adoption story is one of greatest tools you can use to help connect families with the children in China who are waiting to be adopted.
Please let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan to do something for National Adoption Month and we will add your event to our website and help you promote it! We can also mail you our agency brochures, flyers, reference cards, information packets, and any other material you might need (Bound by Love, t-shirts, etc.) to you for you to share with anyone who is interested in learning more about CCAI and the many ways they can be involved in caring for orphans!
Let’s all lean in and make the most of this opportunity to BE THE VOICE for the voiceless.
Thank you for your support!

The application page for Adopteen’s Spring 2014 Adoptees Giving Back Orphanage Service Trip (AGBOST) is now open!
If you have a teen or young adult adoptee who has been waiting to volunteer at orphanages in China, this is an amazing opportunity to do so! Led by Adopteen Director, Amy Zhong, and CCAI President, Joshua Zhong, the 10-day trip will only be taking 20 travelers this Spring to visit Beijing for 3.5 days and then work at Nanchang SWI for 5.5 days.
The first-ever AGBOST happened this past June with an amazing group of 32 adoptees who worked at LouHe LOCC and Zhengzhou SWI. In the words of the travelers:
“The trip was wonderful; I had the time of my life, made incredible friendships, and had a taste of China’s true culture. I can’t put into words how much this trip affected me, but I enjoyed every moment of it to say the least.” ~ Emma (18)
“After a week of reflection…what I’m thinking is….I WANT TO GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I’m sure most people on the trip feel the exact same way. This was an experience that was so special that it can’t be put into words. We all met such wonderful people and met each other, made friends for life, and became a family. I love that I had the wonderful opportunity to come and I hope that many other adoptees in the future are able to experience at least have as much as I did, because even that is more than can be put into words. Thank you so much for making this possible. Truly.” ~ Rachel (17)
“I truly had an amazing and life-changing experience. For me, I got very attached to the babies, and even though I wish I was still with them, I know that they are matched and going to be sent home with wonderful families someday. I thank everyone who participated in this journey, and I am blessed to have gone on such a wonderful trip.” ~ Amanda (18)
“I cannot put into words how amazing and, just, beautiful it was working with the children at the orphanages. So, instead, I’ll say I really loved how we got our own time to explore the city we were in at the end of every day. Work all day, party all night! (kidding) But really, it was good to unwind and just think about what happened that day. I really appreciated the freedom and trust that was given us throughout the trip. It felt like travelling with old friends even though we had only met a week before.” ~ Lia (19)
